The most important advantage of loading cranes is their flexibility and compactness. Loading cranes can for instance be used in buildings or halls, where the operation of telescopic cranes is impossible.
The characteristic feature of loading cranes is the positioning of many boom groups nested into each other in minimal space. So loading cranes need a very small loading berth in the running position (retracted). If expanded, the crane can reach boom lengths of up to 30 metres and lift loads of up to 15 tons.
